Abstract:

The emission from new type of streamer-to-spark transition type discharge in N2/CO2 mixtures as a
function of CO2 concentration was studied. Emission of N2 2nd and 1st positive systems, CN violet system,
and atomic N, O and C lines were detected. The aim was better understanding of processes leading to the
generation of CN.
