Abstract:

Removal of formaldehyde by streamer corona dischargewas studied experimentally. It was shown the removalefficiency as well as the by-products of the chemical process inthe non-thermal plasma of the discharge depend on the initialconcentration, gas flow rate, carrier gas, discharge polarity anddischarge mode. A combined effect of plasma and catalyticpellets of various materials placed in the discharge reactor wasinvestigated too.
